Oh me and my wonderful ideas, that hardly ever turn out to be wonderful ideas.
My plan is for our trip to VEGAS in October to be as stress free as possible, so I am trying to come up with ways to make my personal maintenance a non-issue while we’re there. I am going to color my hair the week before we leave, get one of those gel manicures so I won’t have to paint my nails, possibly get a very light spray tan, and have my hair straightened the day before we leave. I also don’t want to have to shave while we’re gone, so I came up with the grand plan to start waxing now …. thinking that I would be used to it by then and that the hair would grow back slower.

Here’s tip #1 if you are ever planning on buying one of those over-the-counter waxing kits: DON’T !!!
First of all the strips are too small to really do much. Then the wax tends to not stick to all of the hairs …. so you basically end up looking like you have sticky mange. NOT a good look!
I ended up using the epilator to rip out the rest of the hairs …. which might be what I do from now on. Lesson learned.
Now what stupid thing can I think of this week?
yeah, i’ve tried the home waxing thing before, and never did again. i was gonna warn you, but i figured there are just some things a girl needs to try herself before she decides it’s the worst idea ever.
besides, they’ve been selling that shit for YEARS, so there must be someone out there who uses it regularly… right?
