Going to Sam’s with Derek is always an adventure and not always the good kind. As we were checking out, the young lady accidentally hit the side of the cart with the broom we were buying. Derek didn’t miss a beat, “don’t ding that up … my wife has to ride that home”.
The poor girl didn’t understand the snarkiness that is Derek. We had to explain it to her. I keep telling him that not everybody appreciates his sense of humor. He told me I was wrong …. so I hit him with my “new ride”.
HA! That is the most awesome comment I’ve heard in a long time. Give him a thumbs up for me, but wait until you land that thing first, don’t want you falling off.
