I posted a few days ago about how I needed to find a trained monkey who would slap the junk food out of my hand and chase me around the yard for exercise. Don’t worry I didn’t actually buy a monkey … but I did get an Amity.
Amity is my best stranger/friend in the whole wide world and she has agreed that we need to be “sabotage buddies”, which means that whenever we are tempted to sabotage ourselves by eating deep fried burritos or drinking too much beer (boxed wine, in my case) then we will either call or text each other for support.
Of course she lives so far away from me that I could probably eat a dozen deep fried burritos and drink a whole box of wine before she made it to Oklahoma, but that isn’t the point. The point is that we are going to support each other and our personal goals. DAMMIT !!!

Indeed we are accountability buddy. I promise to be honest in my reports of exercise and beer (or lack of) beer consumption. It’s so hard in the summer when it is blazing hot outside and I don’t feel like exercising and that ice cold beer is calling my name. Makes for a vicious cycle; no exercise plus beer equals me not wanting to exercise. Those two things equals me gaining 10 lbs since about march. Argh!
Thanks for calling me your very best stranger/friend in the whole wide world. I feel the same about you!!!!!
My problem with wine drinking is that it makes me not care what I eat. So I have to step away from the wine box and stay active in the evenings …. and I promise to report that stuff as well.

Amity is a beautiful name. Is it her real one or did you make it up for the blog?
Slap the junk food out of your hand…I haven’t had a friend that good since…
Let’s just say it’s been awhile.
Maggie S. recently posted..Is That All You Got?
That is in fact her beautiful name. She is a beautiful person in so many ways. Of course she is … I wouldn’t be friends with a loser.
Thanks a lot Slappy McSlapperson! So glad you don’t think I’m a loser.
Thanks Maggie. Yes it’s real. It means friendship.
