Yes, it’s the middle of February and I am posting about Santa. I had forgotten that I had even taken these pictures. So sue me. Wait … please don’t.
Now that the kidlets are solidly into the teenage years, we keep reminding them that the whole purpose of parenting is raising children so that they don’t need their parents. Therefore we asked Santa to bring the kids gifts that would help them with their transition into adulthood.
** notice the alarm clocks – because we shouldn’t have to wake-up an 18 year old every damn morning **
*** also notice the candy and soda – feel free to use these pictures as evidence for my Mother of the Year award ***

Isn’t it great when Santa brings practical gifts along with some not so practical gifts well he does in this family…………he often spoilts the little ones……….

We were tired of “Santa” getting the credit for handing out cash. So we gave them the cash and asked “Santa” to give them alarm clocks and blankets. It worked well I think.
