Roadkill Tic-Tac-Toe

You have probably figured out that D and I are a strange combination of weird and wonderful, but mostly weird.

On our last long road trip, we came up with a way to pass the time, be morbidly odd, and laugh at the same time.

Hence the creation of Roadkill Tic-Tac-Toe:

Each of the nine squares has the name of an animal commonly seen on the side of the road.  The players take turns and when an animal is spotted then that player gets that square.

The winner gets to pick the show we see in VEGAS or where we eat first or what casino we go to first.

Weird … yes!  Fun … yes!  Something our kids can tell their therapist about …. HELL YES !!!

  1. What’s a Darlene? I think it’s a great game. Do they have to be dead or can they be alive too? We see a crap-load of deer/elk/moose in our area, plus the odd coyote, rabbit, prairie chicken, turkey. I could use those right? ‘Cause there aren’t any armadillos, possums or turtles in our neck of the woods.

  2. We call them Ding Dongs when our dog is around because if you say deer he freaks right out and starts whining. He loves them and wants to play with them but they are mean and he’s already had a broken leg from one of them.
