Slowing Down Your Writing

Here’s a simple trick to reduce stress … write slower.

This post is going to be short, to the point (like the point of a pencil … baaaaahahahaha), and well … simple.

You simply write slower.

Wait ….. whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?  How the heck can that have anything to do with anything?

Trust me.  It does.

Writing slower and typing slower forces your mind to connect to your physical body and they actually calm each other down.

Try it for the rest of the day … then the rest of the week … then any time you feel yourself getting stressed, just do it. 

Every time you have to write or type something, make a conscious effort to do it slower.  I’m doing it right now and so far I’ve typed out this entire post without making any typing, grammar, or spelling errors.  Other than the ones I normally make, because I write like I talk … in a language I call Smart Ass Okie. 

Slowing down your writing and typing not only calms your mind and body, it cuts down on mistakes which saves you time. 

It’s a win-win and it doesn’t cost you a thing.
